A New Bird Feeder

Inspired by our trip to Washington and seeing all of the birds frequenting the bird feeders on my mom's back porch, we ordered our own bird feeder.  We hung it just outside the back sliding door from the cherry tree and hopefully set it up in a way that the squirrels couldn't get in and raid it.  It only took an hour or two and several small finches showed up to get a feeding in at the new stop.  I am not sure how the recognize a new food source so fast, but it was great to see the feeding frenzy start.
