Christmas with Aunt Jackie

Aunt Jackie had invited us to celebrate an early Christmas with them.  We hadn't been up to see them in quite a while so we thought it would be a great opportunity to come.  They had their place all decorated up for the occasion and holidays.  We had a nice big Turkey dinner with all of the fixings, and we were quite stuffed!

 After dinner we exchanged gifts and Gage got this awesome Mary Jane long sleeve shirt.  The plan was to have a relaxing night and then stay in their awesome finished basement.  Unfortunately, this was one of the first nights I had slept away from our house since my heart issues started and I started to have something like a panic attack out of the blue.  I am not sure what caused it exactly, as this is all new to me but my heart started racing and I started to feel really weird.  I had to tell Jackie that we needed to head back down the mountain instead of staying there.  I felt terrible, but she was extremely understanding.  We did have a great time and I wish it could have ended differently, but perhaps we can do it again some other time!
