New Windows

The new windows were finally being installed from Pella!  Our house is nearing the 25–30-year mark and the old windows and sliding glass door were not of a particular high quality to begin with and with aging were just not doing a good job of insulating us from the outside conditions.  I have to say that replacing all of the windows in your house is not for the faint of heart!  The cost just seems so crazy, but thankfully we had a bit of help to give us a 0% loan from my dad to pay for them.  This lowered the cost by several thousands of dollars, and we could just pay him back on a monthly basis.

They did a really good job with taking out the old windows and prepping and sealing all of the new ones in place.  They are much nicer than the old ones, so I think we are happy with the new product.  Hopefully they will keep us warm (or cool in the summers) or years to come.
