Hiking Sanitas

Mount Sanitas is one of our favorite hikes around Boulder.  Its very pretty, their are tons of dogs for the kids to enjoy (that are not ours), and its just the right length.  Above is a nice shade tree they took a rest at on the way up the front side trail.  If it were up to them, they might just stay there all day as well.

Finally, we made it to the top!  We decided to come up the front side on the way up and then headed down the back side (which is the steeper side) on the way back.  This always makes for a little bit more stressful decent as we try to keep the kids from falling down the mountain side as they mostly try to run down.
