Legacy Academic Awards

Gavin usually has to be talked into going to things like this, but I think that it is a great honor and it's important that we get to celebrate all his academic effort.  He won an award (academic letter) but having greater than a 3.70 GPA for two consecutive semesters.

He dressed up in a suit and then gets to have his name announced as he walks across the stage and shakes the administrations hands and receives his letter.  He certainly is a better student than I ever was and really takes it upon himself to hold up a high standard.  It's really impressive and I hope he continues to do great work as high school continues.
