Tiny town...

It was fun to take both boys to Tiny Town this summer.  The last time we had been was when Gavin was younger, and Gage was inside my tummy, and for some reason Gage is having a hard time remembering the visit?

Gage's word of the day was, "Wow!"  And I wish I could properly convey the tone and enthusiasm he used when he said it.  He was in awe of the train the whole time we were on it and every second before and after that.  Out of the blue the other day, he said, "'Member the steam engine that we rided on?"  I'm impressed with how far back Gage's memories seem to go, and I'm thankful that he remembers our fun adventures with fondness. I hope that both of our kids always will.

Isn't this a great picture of Brent and Gavin?  After the train ride, the boys had fun poking their heads in and out of the little houses at Tiny Town and playing at the park at the end.  I was regretting that we didn't pack a picnic lunch because it was a perfect day that wasn't too hot up there in the mountains.  Next time!
